Calypso Resort 705E

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fall in love with the views! We stayed at Calypso Tower II, we had a wonderful vacation in Panama City Beach and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. Being right on the ocean with floor-to-ceiling views from both the living room and bedroom was a dream. The location is perfect, close to the pier and eateries, with great amenities right on-site like the pool, beach access, live music, and the downstairs tiki hut. The beach was glorious! Beginning of June....The weather was glorious! Booking was a breeze, and I loved the excellent communication via text and email and phone from the resort managers. Though it was nice, the off property concierge beach chair service wasn't entirely worth it.... unless you're literally laying on the beach for at least 4 days. Next go around I'll book Calypso's beach service as needed. We also loved the local attractions! Margaritaville was not what we thought it would be......The food at Pompano Joe's across the street and The Emerald across the street from Calypso was amazing, also the Dollywood Pirate Dinner Show was absolutely spectacular, we’d do it again in a heartbeat. The only issue we encountered was upon arrival. The condo was very clean, save for a few dust bunnies on the headboard and in the corner, but the floors were dangerously slick. I almost fell the moment I walked in. I quickly grabbed a bucket, water, and a bit of soap to mop the area myself. Thankfully, that fixed it! Other than that initial surprise, everything was perfect and we would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect! You can walk to Pier Park in a couple minutes. Once you figure out where everything is, navigating the condo was easy. They have a great gym and the pool area was nice. Our tower did lose the A/C for a couple days so that was miserable but other than that, I would definitely recommend it!

Our stay here was excellent. We stayed in tower 1 and our beachfront view was excellent. We enjoyed the Tikihut bar on the way to the beach and the friendly staff working. Our room was exactly as advertised and was very clean. We will be back!

Very nice property. Great décor and well equipped. Tiki Hut and pool were awesome with live music nightly. Very short walk to the beach. We had zero issues during our stay other than a short power outage which was during the day so we hardly noticed. Only thing I wish it had was a small table outside on the balcony. Chairs were there, but no table for outdoor dining. Would love to return next year!

Even though we were right next to the elevator, our stay was quiet. The balcony was amazing. Everything was clean and comfy. Everything worked as to be expected and we’d love to come back next year.
